Health Fairs of America™ (HFA) is a leading national provider of onsite wellness services, including health screenings and vaccinations, to corporations throughout the United States. Our focus is on delivering the highest quality corporate wellness events to our clients.

Thank you for your interest in HFA. We are a private corporate wellness company based in Omaha, Nebraska.

We offer all kinds of wellness-related services to companies throughout the country. We provide the services by maintaining a list of nurses from all over. Basically, when a client requests services, we contact the nurses nearest to that client to see who is available to work with us. We do everything from small, short clinics with one service to large all-day health fairs with multiple services. In addition to regular screenings, we also offer health education seminars and interactive displays, which are available depending on the expertise of local nurses, etc.

We do not diagnose. The services we provide are strictly for screening purposes and are used to create teaching moments with participants. However, we do not just provide a screening. We believe the most important part of our service is explaining what results mean and answering questions participants may have. We have concise but detailed Education Handouts for participants, that include a place where results are to be written, and which also serve as aids for our staff on answering questions, counseling and explaining results.

Because of the nature of our business we cannot offer full-time work or even promise consistent part-time work. We are completely at the beck-and-call of our clients. However, if you are interested it really cannot hurt for you to get on our list of nurses. You are never obligated to work for us. We just hope that you might be interested and available when we need you. Obviously, there will be more work opportunities in large cities versus smaller ones. Our busiest time of year is during “flu shot season”, which is primarily October-December, though we do have various clinics and health fairs throughout the country year round. Since our events are usually in corporate settings as an employee benefit they tend to be during the workday, Monday-Friday.

Independent Contractors seem to know right away if this is something in which they might be interested. We generally attract and retain organized, friendly and outgoing people who enjoy meeting others and working in new environments. The services we provide are basic and we find that most independent contractors enjoy the change-of-pace compared to other typical medical jobs.

If you are interested, please review the information below.
