Cholesterol Screening Equipment
HFA determines with the client which equipment is preferred for their needs:
- Cholestech LDX™; or
- Cardio Chek PA™.
Cholestech LDX™ has been the standard for many years while Cardio Chek PA™ is a newer device.
Since HFA utilizes nurses to provide its screenings, we do not have any problems associated with states that do not allow certain health professional to perform screening tests.
Educational materials and consent forms are available in Spanish. HFA also provides Spanish speaking staff if requested.
